Induction Melting Basics - NEW short course

How do you prove competence of furnace operators?

Thursday, 19 July 2018

ICME is launching a new short course on Induction Melting Basics and Guidelines.

Ideal for companies seeking to be able to demonstrate that their employees have received up to date training on induction furnace operation and control, the one-day course is taking place on the 11th September 2018.

Supported by Inductotherm Europe Ltd, the course will include furnace operation and safety, furnace linings, operator PPE, good practice in charging and pre-heating, as well as a review of other melting furnaces.

The course is taking place at the new National Foundry Training Centre, part of the Elite Centre for Manufacturing Skills, so will include practical elements using the furnaces at the centre.

All delegates will receive a certificate of attendance from ICME, valid for CPD.

Places are strictly limited so book now to avoid disappointment!

Support is available towards the cost of attendance from the Tor Lodge and Applecross Trust.
