Apprentice and Quiz Night
Wednesday, 22 March 2017
The quiz and trophy were dedicated to Graham Hall, who was a life long member to both the Institute and the Lancashire Branch.
The night was supported by over 40 people, which was the best ever attendance at a branch meeting which was full of fun, jokes and laughter.
The evening got off to a bad start with ridiculously hard questions and went down hill fast with the usual heckling comments. The evening was prevented from anarchy, with the skills of the question master Bob Brown, who was assisted by, no-one.
After 10 exhausting rounds of non-stop questions and a few headaches, ''Universally Challenged'' were announced as the winners. Mr Lee Jenkins, the Branch President, presented the trophy to Andrew Jackson, who was the team captain of the winning team.
The evening was a resounding success and the teams are already eagerly awaiting the next quiz night.
The branch would like to thank Weir Minerals Foundry for kindly sponsoring the evening and providing an excellent buffet.
